The green visible laser is significantly more visible than red lasers. Both the visible green laser and the IR laser of the RIP-3C have a range of up to 550 yards, while the built-in IR illuminator offers illumination out to 170 yards. When paired with night vision goggles, this system is perfect for civilian and law enforcement application across most target engagement ranges.
The RIP-3C features a reliable mil standard mounting system that mount to standard M1913 Picatinny Rail. It has a compact design that sits lower than most other lasers.
The laser components are integrated on one side and co-aligned for synchronized adjustments. The green visible laser and infrared (IR) laser pointers are coaxially aligned, allowing for simultaneous zeroing. Windage and elevation adjustments feature a precise 0.25 mil click value, with positive clicks easily achieved using a single cartridge case.
The RIP-3C features a VCSEL IR illuminator with adjustable spot size for enhanced illumination at longer ranges. Infrared illumination is not visible. The IR laser is always at the center of the IR illuminator. The built-in IR illuminator and IR aiming laser offer covert precision when used with night vision devices.

Pretty good, not the best LASER aiming module I own but it seems solid. It came in a very nice box with a plastic box with foam for permanent storage, a pouch for tactical transport, a thank you note and instructions printed on very solid paper which I appreciate. I have a few a mall gripes here and there about output power (I know there are regulations), ergonomics, and small design choices but overall it’s pretty decent considering it’s competitors are (usually) about 2-3x the price. A wishlist for a next generation model would include the following: Adjustable candela for the white light (I hate seeing my muzzle shadow). MORE POWER for the IR illuminator and multiple power settings, currently it is off or on. The LASER brightness is fine but it seems to overpower the illuminator in some scenarios which creates a kind of bullseye effect where there is the LASER dot, bloom around the LASER, and then the IR illuminator. Not sure exactly what can be done about that on the engineering side (maybe a diffuser) but I have an NGAL that figured out that problem. Biggest complaint, the LASER is further offset laterally from the barrel than the white light. Why? If anything the laser should be closer to the barrel. There also doesn’t appear to be a way to zero the illuminator which isn’t a big deal but it would make my OCD a bit happier to be able to put the LASER dead center on the illuminator. Last gripe, for some reason there’s about a half second delay between pushing the button and the LASER functioning. I feel like that should be instantaneous.
