RIX Tactical proudly took part in Boot’n & Shoot’n 2025, a premier clay shooting event held on April 17th at the Dallas Gun Club in Dallas, Texas. Organized to benefit the Valor Mission Project, this annual gathering plays a crucial role in raising funds and awareness for programs that help veterans successfully transition to civilian life. The event not only celebrates the spirit of competition and camaraderie but also honors the sacrifices made by those who have served. For RIX Tactical, participating in Boot’n & Shoot’n is more than just an opportunity to enjoy a day in the field—it’s a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with America’s heroes and actively contribute to causes that make a real difference in the lives of veterans and their families.

Our team arrived on-site at 9:30 AM, eager to hit the course and connect with fellow supporters. Competing in the non-competitive division, we spent the morning and early afternoon working our way through the beautiful clay pigeon course, testing our skills at each station and enjoying the camaraderie of the event.
After finishing the course, we were treated to a hearty lunch provided by Rudy’s, where authentic Texas barbecue brought everyone together for some well-earned food and conversation. The aroma of smoked brisket, ribs, and all the fixings filled the air, perfectly complementing the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the afternoon. Live music from a talented artist singing Texas classics added even more energy and spirit to the day’s festivities.

Beyond the shooting and great food, RIX Tactical also had a strong marketing presence on-site, showcasing our latest tactical gear, thermal optics, and night vision innovations. It was a great opportunity to meet passionate hunters, veterans, first responders, and industry leaders while sharing what sets RIX Tactical products apart in real-world performance.
One of the biggest highlights of the day came during the afternoon’s fundraising efforts. RIX Tactical had the opportunity to outfit a prize rifle with our STORM S6 thermal scope for the raffle-auction. The prize, complete with our premium thermal optic, ended up selling for an incredible $40,000, with all proceeds supporting the Valor Mission Project and its partnership with the Brain Treatment Foundation.

Funds raised from the auction and event directly help provide scholarships for veterans to receive cutting-edge medical treatments for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD), and other service-connected brain injuries. Through personalized brain health programs—including cognitive therapy, hormone replacement, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), stem cell treatments, and more—these initiatives are transforming lives, helping veterans regain mental clarity, emotional strength, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
Boot’n & Shoot’n continues to be one of the most meaningful events we attend each year—blending industry, patriotism, and community. It’s more than just a day at the range; it’s a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when we come together to honor and support those who have given so much.
We’re honored to stand beside America’s heroes and proud to contribute to events that truly make a difference.
